Load Capacity Guidance
The capacities quoted in the load charts are Working Load Limit (WLL), 'defined as maximum safe working load' - calculated by the uniform load method.
Four leg slings are rated by the uniform load method, i.e. as a three leg sling on the assumption that in many circumstances the load is effectively being lifted on three or four legs.
WLL is calculated on a 90? angle for multi-leg slings.
WLL stated is based on a 4:1 safety factor and for a temperature range of -40?C to +200?C.
